Restrictions are being eased in South Australia but we are still at risk if we become complacent. Regional travel is now permitted, allowing fishers to travel to regional destinations to wet a line. The situation is fast changing and the latest information can be found at https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/

When fishing please ensure that you are following the below protocols –

  • 1 person per 4 sqm
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
  • Be cautious around jetties, boat ramps, reservoirs and other popular fishing locations.

This applies to both boating and landbased fishing. Please stay home if you are unable to maintain social distancing or if you are unwell, and remember to wash hands thoroughly when returning home.
