The 2015 National Recreational Fishing Conference  will be held on Saturday July 25 on the Gold Coast & RecFish SA are looking to send a keen future recreational fishing leader to attend!

Are you passionate about recreational fishing and have a vision of a better recreational fishing future in SA? 

Do you want to learn more and take a step towards making a difference?

If this is you, then RecFish SA would like to invite you to apply to attend the 2015 National Recreational Fishing Conference.

The theme for the 2015 Conference is ‘Managing our Fishing Future’. It is a great opportunity to learn from some of the worlds leading recreational fishing experts. Participants will also engage in forum discussions about the future of recreational fisheries management.

The conference aims to:

  •     Increase the level of meaningful engagement with Australia’s 5 million strong recreational fishing community on national issues of importance;
  •     Identify key priority actions to be progressed following on from the Conference; and
  •     Acknowledge the achievements of individuals and groups within the recreational fishing community.

The conference will feature presentations by experts on various issues relating to recreational fishing from around the world, discussion forums to engage participants on key issues, an awards ceremony celebrating excellence in a number of categories and takes place adjacent to the biggest tackle trade show in Australia.

The successful applicant will receive expenses paid including:

  • Conference Registration
  • Recreational Fishing Awards attendance
  • Airfares, Accommodation (& some meals)
