2016 SA Recreational Fishing Grant Applications are Now Open – Can RecFish SA Assist in Making Your Project Idea a Reality?
SA Government Recreational Fishing Grants of up to $50,000 each, are available for projects around the state and 2016 applications are open now. Clubs, Community groups and Local Councils are eligible to apply.
RecFish SA are pleased to be offering assistance to potential applicants and may be able help make your project idea a reality!*
Projects could include but are not limited to:
- Increasing interest and skills in recreational fishing through family fun days or angler training days
- Improving access and security (fishing platforms, paths, boardwalks) for recreational fishing
- Improving recreational fishing small infrastructure, such as fish cleaning stations, seating, barbecue areas, cooking facilities and toilets
- Fish restocking and habitat restoration in suitable areas open to recreational fishing.
